We are pleased to have participated in the CEE Legal Balkan GC Summit 2025, organized by the CEE Legal Matters, held in Belgrade last week. The Summit gathered prominent General Counsel, legal professionals, and business leaders from across the region, providing an excellent platform for in-depth discussions on the evolving role of in-house counsel and the key issues shaping corporate legal practice in today’s fast-changing environment.
Our Senior Partner, Djordje Djokić, was among the distinguished panelists in the session “Ethics and Employment Relations”, where he joined Marija Kecman Purić, Global Head of Legal at IPS Intelligent Process Solutions, Djordje Colić, Senior Legal counsel at Bambi and Filip Kovač, Group Legal & Compliance Manager at Nectar Group, with Ms. Nana Blagojević, Head of Legal at Bausch Health moderating the discussion. The panel addressed the growing importance of ethical leadership in employment relations and explored how General Counsel and senior legal advisors can balance legal compliance, corporate values and human impact.
Discussions focused on navigating complex workplace dilemmas, from whistleblowing and building a speak-up culture, to conducting internal investigations and addressing privacy and the ethical use of technology in employment settings and in collaboration with external counsel. The exchange of perspectives highlighted the crucial role of legal professionals in fostering trust, transparency and accountability within organizations.
The Summit once again confirmed its position as one of the region’s most relevant gatherings for in-house legal professionals, offering valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and networking.
Djokić + Partners extends sincere congratulations to the CEE Legal Matters on a highly successful event and looks forward to future initiatives that continue to strengthen collaboration and thought leadership within the regional legal community.
See you next year!
